University of Miami Innovate Team
Taken for credit in my CSC 711 Internship class, this job took place over the course of my Spring Semester during my final year of Graduate studies. From their wesbsite, the Innovate team consists of a combination of professional staff and student programmers, who collaborate in project management and software development. We guide and consult regarding project selection and implementation in a variety of fields including virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR), and artificial intelligence (AI).
Sintavia
This internship covered the summer of 2022, from June to August, and was located on-site in Fort Lauderdale. From their website, Sintavia is a designer and additive manufacturer of advanced mechanical systems for Aerospace, Defense, and Space OEMs. Through the use of its own applied additive technology—proprietary designs, material parameters, manufacturing processes, and quality systems—we support a new generation of air, sea, and space vehicles.
Hemispheric University Consortium
This internship took place during the Spring semester of my Senior year at the University of Miami, from January 2022 to May 2022. Due to the local restrictions set in place at the time, this position was completed remotely. From their website, the purpose of the Hemispheric University Consortium (HUC) is to foster collaboration among higher education institutions in an effort to enhance the quality and reach of their education and their research in order to develop innovative and impactful solutions for the social challenges facing the region and the world.
